This report tab is present on the nav bar of both the edition Salesforce Lightning and Salesforce Classic and here we can also create the report chart in both the editions in Salesforce Lightning and Salesforce Classic.

In the salesforce, we can add a chart to offer users a visual way to understand the data in our report. The chart can help the user easily understand the pattern and the relationship between their data.
This report chart in Salesforce can be implemented on a variety of records like leads, accounts, contacts, cases, activities, and other custom objects in our Salesforce org.
There are wide varieties of Chats in Salesforce like, bar charts, line charts, donut charts, column charts, funnel charts, Scatter plot charts, stacked bar charts, etc. These charts can be used by users according to their needs. If the user wants to create a pie chart of their data then they pick up the donut chart and if they want to create a line chart they pick up the line chart.

1: Login into the Salesforce lightning account, the setup page is open. Go to the App Launcher, which is present at the top left corner of the Salesforce lightning page. Click on it, and enter the reports in the search box. The report object comes at the top. Select the report object.

2: After clicking on the reports recent page is open and there are lots of reports present which consist of the report name, description, and folder, created by, and created on. Select one of the reports and here we are selecting the Report on USA duplicate records.

3: After selecting the report on USA duplicate records, the report on USA duplicate records page is open and you can see that under this report on USA duplicate records total of two records are present. Click on the edit button of this report that is present at the top right corner.

4: After clicking on the edit button, the report on USA duplicate records is converted into the edit mode, now we can edit the report. On the left side, there is two option the first one is Outline and the second one is Filter, click on the outline.
Under the outline, there are groups labeled that are divided into two parts group rows, and group columns. Drag the duplicate record set name through the bottom and drop it under the Group rows.
The duplicate record set name and duplicate record item name two rows are created with their data. Now we want to create the cart of this duplicate record set. Click on the add chart option that is present at the center at the top of the page.

5: After clicking on the add chart button, the chart is created under the report on USA duplicate records page and you can see that this is the line chart that is created on the screen.

6: After creating the chart, there is a setting option that is present on the right side of the chart. Click on the setting option, a dialogue box is open in which all the charts are shown like bar charts, column charts, stacked bar charts, line charts, donut charts, and funnel charts. Select one of the charts that you want to create.
After selecting one of the charts the shape of the chart is changed and displayed on the screen.

How to create a report chart in Salesforce Classic
Here we are creating the report chart in Salesforce Classic. If you want to learn how to create the report chart in Salesforce Classic you must follow these steps:
Step-1: First log in to the Salesforce account, when we log in to the account the Salesforce lightning edition is open. Moving to Salesforce Classic, click on the Profile picture.
The Profile picture drop-down list is open. Under this profile picture list, there is an option to switch to Salesforce Classic. Click on it. The Salesforce classic edition is open. Go to the setup option, and click on the setup that is present near the profile picture.

Step-2: After clicking on the reports, the reports and dashboard page is open and all folders of reports and dashboard page is open. And there are lots of reports present which consist of the report name, and folder, created by. Select one of the reports and here we are selecting the USA Report on duplicate records.

Step-3: After clicking on the USA report on duplicate records, the USA report on the duplicate records page is open. And in this page, we can see that the summarized information, time frame, and the data of the report are shown.
There are two rows first one is Duplicate Record Set Name and the second one is Duplicate Record Item Name. Now click on the customize button that is present above the two records.

Step-4: After clicking on the customize button the USA Report on Duplicate Records is in edit mode now we can add or edit anything we want. Here we want to create a chart of the related report. For creating the chart click on the Add Chart button that is present near the Show button.

Step-5: After clicking on add chart button, the chart editor window is open. Here we can select the chart type and the chart data and the preview of the chart is shown on the screen. Here we select the bar chart and the preview of the bar chart is shown with the x-axis as record count and the y-axis as Duplicate record item Name.

Step-6: Now we select the second type of chart which is the column chart. The chart data and the preview of the column chart with the x-axis as record count and the y-axis as Duplicate record item Name.

Step-7: After selecting the column chart now we want to see the preview of the pie chart which is present at the fourth number inside the select type. Click on the pie chart. The chart data and the preview of the pie chart with the x-axis as record count and the y-axis as Duplicate record item Name.
If we want this chart to be shown on the main page of the report then click on the OK button that is present at the bottom of the page else we can also select another type of chart and show the preview of the chart.

Step-8: After clicking on the OK button, the pie chart is created above the report. Here green and blue color shows the duplicate record item name of both the records that are shown under the pie chart.
We can also edit or delete the chart by simply clicking on the edit or delete button that is present at the top left corner of the chart.
