What is Profile in Salesforce
A Salesforce Profile is a collection of settings and permissions granted to particular Salesforce users that specify the scope of their activity on the platform salesforce.com.
In Salesforce, a profile controls how users can access objects and data to carry out particular business operations. Each profile has a unique license that grants access to a set of features and functionalities.
And every time a user is created, a Salesforce profile is assigned to them to describe the scope of their Salesforce activity.
