Step-3: Next, click on the pen icon (🖋️) which is to personalize your nav bar for the Salesforce App. This will open a widget in Salesforce Lightning.

Step-4: From the widget, click on the Add More Items button. This will open an Available Items list from which we can add items. And these items are basically tabs of an App in Salesforce.

Step-1: First, open the Home Setup Page in Salesforce by clicking on the Gear icon (⚙️) and selecting the Setup option.

Step-2: In the left menu, search for the App Manager option using the Quick Find option. And click on the App Manager option from the result. This will open the Lightning Experience App Manager page.

Step-3: From the next page, scroll to the application that you want, click on the down arrow icon (⬇️), and click on the Edit button.

Step-4: After this, from the App Settings menu, click on the Navigation Items option.

Step-5: Next, we need to select and move the required tab(s)/item(s) from the Available Items section to the Selected Items section. Moreover, after adding the tab(s)/item(s), click on the Save button to save the changes.

Now, if we have added the tab or item in your Salesforce app using the App Manager, we cannot simply remove the tab using the edit App option. Instead, we need to follow the following steps.

Step-1: Again navigate to the App Manager option from the Home Setup page.

Step-2: From the App Manager page, select the Salesforce App that you want to edit. For this, click on the down arrow (⬇️) and click the Edit option.

Step-4: Now, instead of moving items from Available Items to Selected Items, we need to select and move the item(s) from the Selected Items list to the Available Items list. In the last, click on the Save button to save changes.
