How to send email in Salesforce Lightning
If you want to learn how to send email in salesforce lightning, follow the below-given steps.
Step 1: Click on the App Launcher, then select any App that you want. Here, I select Marketing.

Step 2: Now, look at the tabs and select Contacts.

Step 3: Select the contact to whom you want to send an email. Here, I select Edna Frank.

Step 4: After you are in the contact record, scroll down and click “Email” in the activity component.

Step 5: From and To are automatically selected. If you want to change the From, you can change it by selecting other.
Step 6: The Bcc is also automatically selected. If you want to change the Bcc read the last part of this section.
Step 7: Now, add the subject of an email.
Step 8: Compose the email in the text box. You can also change the Font, Size, Alignment, etc of the email. Even you can add the attachment to an email.
Step 9: Finally, click on Send.

Step 10: You, can also check the status of the email, such as unopened, or opened.

Step 11: If you want to delete the email, you can delete it by clicking on ⬇ and selecting the Delete option.

How to change the setting of email in Salesforce
The following are the settings that you can change in the salesforce email.
Step 1: Scroll down to the activity component and select the ⬇ adjacent to Email.
Step 2: Select Set My Email Preferences.

Step 3: If you want to change the name that appears on outgoing email, set the new name in Email Name. By default, it takes your name.
Step 4: If you want to change the email address of the return email, set a new Email Address. By default, it takes your salesforce account email address.
Step 5: If you want to stop returning emails or you can say Bcc email, simply click on the No radio button.
Step 6: You can also add your signature to each email automatically, by setting your signature in the Email Signature field.
Step 7: After making the necessary changes to the setting of the email, click on Save.

Step 8: Now, you can see that when you compose an email, all the settings that you have changed are visible.

Step 1: Click on avatar and select Switch to Salesforce Classic.

Step 2: Select any App that you want. Here, I select Service.

Step 3: Now, look at the tabs and select Contact.

Step 4: Select the contact to whom you want to send an email. Here, I select Forbes, Sean.

Step 5: After you are in the contact record, scroll down and click “HTML Email Status” in the activity component. Select the Send an Email.

Step 6: To is automatically set and the Bcc is also automatically set to your email address.
Step 7: Now, add the subject of an email.
Step 8: You can also add an attachment to the email by clicking on Attach Email button.
Step 9: Compose the email in the box. Click on Send.

Step 10: If you want to delete the email, you can delete it by scrolling down to Activity History, and clicking on either Del or Delete button.

Step 11: Let’s see the view of email at the client’s end.
