Chatter Streams in Salesforce
In Salesforce, Chatter streams are custom feeds that are created by combining multiple related feeds into one feed. We can view and access chatter streams from the Chatter Home Page.
In Salesforce we can create up to 100 streams and each stream combine posts from up to 25 different feeds and feed types. In Salesforce we generally create streams to combine feeds for people, groups, and records, like accounts, opportunities, and cases.
While working for an organization that uses Salesforce for customer relationship management (CRM), I was asked to create streams for different leads coming in from various sources. The company wants to segment leads into different categories based on their interests.
Now, In the below steps, I will explain to you how I handled this situation and created Chatter streams for different accounts in Salesforce.
