In this Salesforce tutorial, we will learn to Create a Revenue by Lead report in Salesforce. We will discuss the process of creating a revenue-by-lead report in both editions of Salesforce i.e. Lightning and Classic.
Revenue by Lead Report in Salesforce
In Salesforce, a report that shows the data of Revenue generated by Leads during sales is termed a Revenue-by-Lead report. This report type is created with customization by taking data from Opportunities so this report is an Opportunity report type. It is easy to track sales performance and revenue with the help of Revenue generated by the Lead Report type.
As a Salesforce System Admin who works for a company that provides business solutions and uses Salesforce as their CRM tool, I was asked to create a report that displays the revenue generated by the leads in the current financial year. So, according to the requirements of the Sales team, I created a Revenue by Leads report.
In the below steps, I will explain the method of creating a Revenue by Leads Report in Salesforce Lightning and Classic editions with the help of examples.
