In Salesforce development, we create Picklists (Multi-Select) that offer a selection of options available for specific fields in a Salesforce object, such as a list of regions. Within these Picklists (Multi-Select) we assign values and arrange them, but many of the times we require a prioritized value at a specific position (mostly top).
To arrange these values in a prioritized order, we use the Reorder function of Salesforce. With the help of an example, we will discuss how to arrange these Picklist (Multi-Select) Values by covering the following points.

How to Rearrange Picklist (Multi-Select) Value in Salesforce Lightning.
To Rearrange Picklist (Multi-Select) Value in Salesforce Lightning. First, login into your Salesforce account and follow the below steps.
Step:1- On the Setup page of Salesforce Lightning, open the Object Manager tab.

Step:2- In the Object Manager, choose the object in which you have already created Picklist (Multi-Select) field. In this case, I have created Picklist (Multi-Select) field in the object Business Brand.

Step:3- In the next window, select Fields and Relationship from the Details section on the Left sidebar.

Step:4- From the Fields & Relationships, select the Picklist (Multi-Select). In this case, we have already created Picklist (Multi-Select) field named Clients’ Cities.

Step:5- In this step, go to the Values section and click on the Reorder button.

Step:6- In the section Sort PIcklist Values, select a value and use the arrows to change its placement on the list as shown in the below picture. After making changes according to your requirements click on the Save button.

Step:7- After clicking the Save button, we will see that Picklist (Multi-Select) values are now arranged in a new order.

Now, we have successfully arranged the Picklist (Multi-Select) values in Salesforce Lightning.

How to Rearrange Picklist (Multi-Select) Values in Salesforce Classic.
To Rearrange Picklist (Multi-Select) values in Salesforce Classic. First, login into your Salesforce account and follow the below steps.
Step:1- If you are in the Salesforce Lightning mode, then to switch to the Salesforce Classic mode, click on the profile picture as shown in the below picture and then click on Switch to Salesforce Classic.

Step:2- On the home page of Salesforce Classic, click on the Setup tab as shown in the below picture.

Step:3- In the Setup window, go to the Build section in the left sidebar. There click on the Customize dropdown and after that select the Object which has an existing Picklist (Multi-Select) field. In this case, I have an existing Picklist (Multi-Select) field in the Opportunities. We will click on it and then click on Fields as shown in the below picture.

Step:4- In the window Opportunity Fields, go to the section Opportunity Custom Fields & Relationships. Here, you will see a list of fields, from this list select the existing Picklist (Multi-Select) field. In this case, I am selecting the Picklist (Multi-Select) field New leads.

Step:5- In this window, go to the Values section consisting of Picklist (Multi-Select) field values. On the top of that click on the Reorder button.

Step:6- In this step, we will sort the Picklist (Multi-Select) values. Here select the value from the list and to arrange the value position, use the arrow button on the left side of the values after arranging values according to your requirements click on the Save button.

With this step, we have successfully arranged the Picklist (Multi-Select) field values in Salesforce Classic.
