I got a task to bulk edit the checkbox related to a product whose warranty has expired by simply unchecking all the IsActive checkboxes.

For this, we can click on the product warranty object, under this object we can see lots of records are present. Click on the checkbox of all the records and click on the save button. At a single time, all the checkboxes are edited and the Warranty is inactive by simply unchecking the checkbox.

Here we are selecting the Product Warranties object. After clicking on the product warranties object, the product warranties page is opened. Under this page, we can see that lots of records are present and all these records have a warranty active checkbox.

Now we want to edit these bulk records by simply unchecking the checkbox at a single time.

Step-3: Now we can see that there is a Head Phone record whose Warranty active checkbox is checked for editing this record click on the pencil icon that is present on the right side of the warranty active column.

Step-4: After clicking on the pencil icon, click on the checkbox, the checkbox is unchecked after unchecking the Head phone warranty active checkbox.

Now uncheck the iPhone Warranty active checkbox by simply clicking on the checkbox and then uncheck the Portable Bluetooth speaker active checkbox by simply clicking on the checkbox and after that click on the save button.

Here we will learn how to bulk edit the checkbox in Salesforce Classic. For example, there is a company that is based in the United States of America and I am the team lead in this company the manager of the company asked me to assign the task to all the employees who are working under me and after assigning the task it is also my duty to mass edit the checkbox of the task.

There is the task object under this object there are lots of task records that are assigned to the employees under these records there is the IsCompleted checkbox which is unchecked after completing all the tasks by the employee I can bulk edit all the tasks records by simply clicking on the checkboxes.

Step-1: When we login to the Salesforce account enter the username and password. Our Salesforce Lightning account is open but here we want to work on the Salesforce Classic account. For this, we click on the profile picture and the drop-down menu of the profile picture is open.

Under this menu, we can see that there is a switch to the Salesforce Classic account option. Click on the switch to the Salesforce classic option. the Salesforce Classic account is open.

We can see that lots of objects are present on the nav bar select one of the objects. If the object you want to select is not shown on the nav bar click on the drop-down arrow that is present on the right side of the nav bar.

Click on the drop-down arrow the drop-down list of objects is open. Select one of the objects and here we are selecting the task object.

Step-2: After clicking on the task object the task page is open. Under this task page, you can see lots of records are present but all the columns of records are not shown. So to see all the columns of the records click on the go button that is present below the Task home.

Step-3: After clicking on the go button, all the columns related to the task records are shown. Now you can see that there is an IsCompled checkbox column and all these records have an IsCompleted checkbox is unchecked.

Now we want to edit these bulk records by simply checking the checkbox at a single time.

Step-4: Now we can see that there are task records whose all the checkbox is unchecked for editing these records click on the pencil icon that is present on the right side of the IsCompleted checkbox. And click on the checkboxes that are present under the action column.

Step-5: After clicking on the pencil icon, the edit IsCompleted dialogue box is open. From here we can bulk edit the checkbox.

Click on the IsCompleted checkbox and our IsCompleted checkbox is checked There is another section applying changes two and it has two options first one is The record clicked and the second one is all 3 selected records.

Here we are clicking on the All 3 selected records checkbox and our checkbox is checked after clicking on that and then clicking on the save button.

Step-6: After saving the bulk edit checkbox, we can see that our task record under which the IsCompleted checkboxes are present is checked successfully. So this way we can see that we can bulk edit the checkbox at one time. We don’t need to edit again and again.
