In this Salesforce tutorial, we will learn how to delete the Picklist (Multi-Select) Value in Salesforce. We will discuss the method of deleting a Picklist (Multi-Select) Value in Salesforce Lightning and Salesforce Classic.
Deleting the Picklist (Multi-Select) Value in Salesforce
Picklist (Multi-Select) fields are used in Salesforce development so that users can select from many of the data available on the list. This Picklist (Multi-Select) allows users to select multiple data from the list in Salesforce. Since in Picklist (Multi-Select) field, values are in the list of big data and it is time-consuming to find value from the list and pick it.
It is better to delete those values which are not in use or required to be in the Picklist (Multi-Select) field. This will avoid time consumption and errors.
While working in Salesforce development for our client organization, I had to delete a Picklist (Multi-Select) value because that organization closed its clients’ operations in Washington. I had stored this value in the Clients Cities and now I will show you how to delete this value in further steps.
