Conditions required for Inline Editing in Salesforce
- We are required to have “edit access” for that particular object which we want to edit through inline editing.
- We should have “edit access” for the associated field for inline editing.
- The associated field and record should be editable in the page layout assigned to your profile. Like if the edit access is to the admin only then the user won’t be able to do the inline edit.
