Using the following steps we can set trusted IP ranges for an Org level.
1. On the home page, Click on the “Gear icon”, then select “Setup” from the dropdown.
2. On the setup page, “Quick Find Box” -> Search ”Network Access” -> Click on “Network Access”.

3. Click on the New button to add a new IP Address.

4. Fill up the mandatory fields and click on the Save button.
- Start IP Address – Enter the valid IP Address.
- End IP Address – In the end field IP Address should be greater than the start field.
- Description – It is optional, if there are multiple IP addresses then here you can mention details about part of the network.
- The start and end IP address must be in the IPV4 range.

How to set Trusted IP Ranges for an Org level in Salesforce Classic
To set trusted IP ranges for an Org level in classic follow the below steps.
1. Go to the Setup -> in Quick Find Box -> Search “Network Access” -> Click on “Network Access“.

2. Click on the New Button to add a new Trusted IP range.

3. Fill in the necessary details and click on the Save button.
- Start IP Address – Enter the valid IP Address. Ex. 132.0.0.0
- End IP Address – In the end field IP Address should be greater than the start field. Ex. 132.255.255.255
- Description – It is optional, if there are multiple IP addresses then here you can mention details about part of the network. Ex “Health Cloud”.
- The start and end IP address must be in the IPV4 range.

Note – If you try to log in outside of these specified IP ranges you need to verify your identity by entering the verification code sent by Salesforce.
