- Click on the Setup. -> Home Page. -> Click your avatar/profile picture in the top right -> Select Settings.
- In the left menu, search for Reset My Security Token in the search box. Click on it.
- Click Reset Security Token. Salesforce will send the new Security Token to your registered email address.
- After you receive the email from Salesforce, copy the new Security Token. When logging in from an untrusted network or third-party tool, paste your normal password first and then immediately paste the Security Token after it.
In this way, we can reset and get a new Security Token whenever we need to connect Salesforce with external tools from an untrusted network.
How to Use a Security Token in Salesforce

I want to log in to Data Loader using the Password Authentication option.
In this method, we need to enter the Salesforce username. Next, in the password field, type the normal password followed by the Security Token that we generated in the above step (without spaces).
