What is the Salesforce lead?

In Salesforce, when we enter the client or organization in the database to whom we want to sell the product, we add these clients or organizations as leads. In simple terms, leads are regular buyers to whom you are trying to advertise your products.

Leads include both company and contact information. Lead assignment rules automatically allocate new leads to salespeople as soon as they are created. In Salesforce, we can manually enter, import, or collect leads via Web-to-Lead forms to add them.
