What are the paths in Salesforce?
Paths define the stages that each object can go through and also describe the fields that are showing for each stage. For every state of the process, directions and resources are provided to help the users.
Using the paths in Salesforce can help upgrade our team’s ordering and capacity. It also gives a clear view of the sales process. It permits users to quickly and easily upgrade the status of objects as they proceed through every stage.
The paths can also help us to confirm that nothing falls and that every task is completed on time and in a well-organized manner.

Sales Path in Salesforce
Here, we are using the path in Salesforce. If you want to learn how to use Sales Path Salesforce, follow these steps:
1. Go to Gear icon –> Select the Setup option –> Click on the Object Manager tab.

2. Now, enter the path setting in the Quick Find Box. Select this Path setting option.

3. The path settings page is open. Under this path setting page, the enable path button is present; click on the button. This button changes into the new path button. Click on the new path button.

4. After clicking on the new path button, the name of your path and choose an object page is open. Fill in the complete information first, and fill in the path name as USA Account Path. Fill in the API reference name which is just going to be auto-generated.
After that, select the object as Account, select the record type as Master, and choose the picklist. After that, click on the next option

5. Now select the fields and provide guidance for each step in the path, such as tips, links to chatter groups or files, best practices, and policy reminders, and then click on next. Here, we select the web tab and type the guidance for success in the text box.

6. Here, we select the Phone Inquiry tab and write the text for the Guidance for Success in the text box.

7. Here, we select the Partner Referral tab and write the text for the Guidance for Success in the text box.

8. Here, we select the Purchase List tab and write the text for the Guidance for Success in the text box.

9. Here, we select the other tab, write the text for the Guidance for Success in the text box, and click on the next option.

10. Click on the activate your path option and then enable the celebration option.

11. After enabling the celebration now, select a value from the available list, add it to the selected celebration list, and then click the finish button.

12. The USA Account path is created and shown on the path settings page. We can also Delete, Edit, and deactivate this path by simply clicking on the buttons.

Path Settings in Salesforce
1. We can set the path by creating a new path or editing the previous path we created; here, we create a new one, enabling the celebration. Now, pick the values from the available list, add the value to the selected celebration list, and then click on the finish button.

2. The USA Expense path is created and this USA Expense created path is showing under the path settings page. We can also Delete, Edit, and deactivate this path by simply clicking on the buttons.
