Recently, when I was working on the Salesforce lightning experience, I faced an issue. In this issue, the Salesforce Lightning log a call button is missing from the Activity tab/timeline.
Generally, when we shift from Classic to Lightning mode in Salesforce, the “Activity History” or “Open Activities” option does not appear in Salesforce Lightning. Instead, in Salesforce Lightning, the log a call button appears under the Activity Lightning component.
However, when I tried to access the records of the Accounts object in Salesforce Lightning, the log a call button was missing from the Activity component.
Here is the sample screenshot where the log a call is not visible in Salesforce Lightning.
