Integration License Not Displaying While Creating Integration User in Salesforce

As a Salesforce admin, I was creating a new integration user in our Salesforce org. As I navigated the new user form, I saw that no Integration license was available in the License option.

For that, I followed the steps below, and using them, I created an Integration user in Salesforce.

Here, I will explain why the integration license is not displayed when creating an integration user in Salesforce.

Problem

When I click on User License, you will see that the Salesforce Integration license is not displayed here. To understand why this happens, I will explain why the integration license is not displayed in the following steps.

Solution

When you create a new user, you do not receive the license that was used to create the user, which means you exceed the limit of that license.

I have explained why the integration user license is not displaying in the user license option.

This solution is also valid for other licenses. If you create a different type of user and that license does not display, you can follow the steps below.

  1. Navigate to the Setup, search for Company Information in the Quick Find box, and click on it.

  1. After that, the company information setup will open, and as you scroll down, you will see the User Licenses section. Here, you can view all available licenses, along with some additional information.
    • Status: It shows whether the license you have in your org is active or not.
    • Total License: After creating the Salesforce Org, you can see the total number of licenses you have. The total license shows, particularly for different types of user licenses.
    • Used Licenses: It displays the number of licenses you have used so far.
    • Remaining License: Here, you can check how many remaining licenses you have so that you can create only that number of users.
    • Expiration Date: If a license has an expiration date, it will be deactivated after that date.

Here, you can see that we have only one Salesforce Integration license, which we also use. Due to this, we are unable to view the integration license in the User License option when creating users.

Now, even if you want to create a new integration user, you need to find an activated user with an integration license. Then you need to change that user’s license so that the integration license gets free, and you can use that for the newly created user.

This solution applies to all other user licenses as well. If you cannot see the license in the User License section of the user form, follow the steps above.
