In this Salesforce tutorial, we will understand how to unhide the New button when the New button is missing on Opportunity object in Salesforce.
Usually, when we open the Opportunity tab in Salesforce, the New button is visible on the List View page.

However, recently, when we try to create a new record under the Opportunity object, we came across an issue where we were unable to find the New button.

New button missing on Opportunity in Salesforce- Reason
One of the common reasons why the New button missing on Opportunity in Salesforce is because of wrong List View settings.
A New button on the Opportunity List View page is utilized to create a new record under the Opportunity object. Now, a List View allows displaying the list of records based on certain selected filters.
Moreover, from the List View page itself, we can create new Opportunity records. But, if the New button is not appearing, it means, we need to check if the List View page for the Opportunity object is configured properly or not.
