In this Salesforce Lightning tutorial, we are going to discuss How to deploy the App page to Salesforce Lightning Application.
In Salesforce Lightning, we build Custom App Pages with the help of Lightning App Builder. We can deploy these Custom App Pages to a number of Applications.
In Salesforce development we generally add a custom app page to the application while creating an app page. I got into a situation where I have to add the custom app page to a different application. So, I got a solution which we will discuss straight forward in this tutorial.
Deploy Custom App Page to Salesforce Lightning Application
To deploy a Custom App Page, you first need to create a custom app page with the help of Lightning App Builder. Now to deploy the custom app page to the Salesforce Lightning Application follow the below steps.
Step:1- First, go to the Home Page of Salesforce Lightning and below the home page there will be a quick find bar search Lightning App Builder and click on it as shown in the below picture.

Step:2- On clicking the Lightning App Builder a new window will appear, where we will see the list of created Lightning Pages. We have to click Edit on the App Page we want to deploy to the Salesforce Lightning Application.

Step:3- In this step, you can see our custom App Page is shown. Click on the Activation button on the top right side of the window.

Step:4- On clicking Activation, a new window will appear with the heading Activation: “application-name”. Now go to the LIGHTNING EXPERIENCE tab and select the application on which you have to deploy the Custom App Page.
In this case, I have selected the application Sales Tech App. After selecting the application click on Add page to the app and then click on Save.

Step:5- Till now we have completed the deployment of the app page to the application. To view the app page in the application, again go back to the Home Page of Salesforce Lightning and click on the App Launcher (9 dots) as shown in the below picture, and in the dropdown, menu click on View All.

Step:6- On clicking View All, the Application in which we have added the app page will be visible. In this case, we have added Custom Page to the Lightning Application Sales Tech App, so we will click on it.

Step :7- When we click on the Application name, it will open in a new window where we can see the app page Custom_Sales_App_Page is successfully deployed and visible in the tab as shown in the below picture.

Now we have successfully deployed the Lightning Custom App Page to the Salesforce Application.
