How to delete an App Page in Salesforce Lightning

When we Delete an App Page in Salesforce Lightning, we delete it through the App builder and it get deleted from there, it gets permanently deleted from the App Builder Lightning App Pages.

To delete an App page from the Salesforce Lightning, firstly login into your account and follow the below steps.

Step:1- At the Home Page in the Quick Find and search for Lightning App Builder and click on it .

Step:2- On clicking Lightning App Builder a new window will open of SETUP Lightning App Builder. There we will see a list of app pages under the heading Lightning Pages. With each app page there will be option of Edit and Del, click on Del to delete the App page. In this case we will delete the app page New Custom App Page.

Step:3- On clicking Del a pop-up window will open, and it will ask for confirmation to delete the App Page. We will click on OK button to confirm the delete process of the app page.

Step:4- As we click on OK, the app page New Custom App Page will get deleted from the list of Lightning Pages.

Now, we have successfully deleted the App Page New Custom App Page in Salesforce Lightning.

In case, you click on the OK button and a new window opens up with an error message Unable to Complete the Required Change.

It will also state a reason that “You can’t delete an active Lightning page. You must delete all custom tabs associated with this page before you can delete it”. which means that the App page you are deleting is deployed in the Salesforce Lightning Application.

First, you need to remove the App page from the lightning application, then only you can delete it from the App Builder.
