Use the Converted Button to convert Lead into Account
To convert lead into account in Salesforce Lightning using Converted Button, follow the steps below:
1. Select the Sales app by clicking on the App Launcher.

2. From the list of tabs, select Leads.

3. Choose the Lead Name you wish to turn into an account by clicking on it. I’ll go with Carolyn Crenshaw here.

4. Click on the Converted Button.

5. Next, click on the Converted Status button.

6. You can update the account information on the pop-up page that appears on the screen.
7. After filling in the fields, click on Convert.

8. You will get the link to the newly generated account after converting it.

9. The below screenshot shows lead is successfully converted to an account, as Ace Iron and Steel Inc Pvt Ltd’s record is now showing in the account tab of the sales app.

Use the Convert Option to turn Lead into Account
Follow the below-given steps to convert a lead to an account using Convert Option in salesforce lightning:
1. Click on the App Launcher, then select Sales app.

2. Select the Leads Tab from the list of tabs.

3. Choose the Lead Name you wish to turn into an account by clicking on it. I choose Brenda Mcclure here.

4. Click on the ⬇ next to the Submit for Approval, and select the Convert option.

5. Update the account information on the pop-up page that appears on the screen.
6. Once the fields have been filled out, click Convert.

7. A link to the newly generated account will be shown after conversion.

8. The below screenshot shows lead is successfully converted to an account, as Cadinal Call Zomm Inc. Pvt Ltd’s record is now showing in the account tab of the sales app.

How to convert Lead to Account in Salesforce Classic
Follow the below-given steps to convert a lead to an account in salesforce classic:
1. Select Switch to Salesforce Classic by clicking the Avatar.

2. By clicking in the top right corner, select the Marketing app.
3. Look at the tabs and select Leads.

4. To convert a certain lead into an account, click on their name. I’ll go with Akin Kristen here.

5. Click on the Convert button.

6. Now, update the account name. Here, I set it to Aethna Home Products.
7. Again click on the Convert button.
