In this Salesforce Tutorial, we will learn to add Standard Components to a Lighting Record page in Salesforce. We add Standard Components to the templates of our Custom Lightning Pages, and these Standard Components add more functionality to our custom lighting pages.
Standard Components In Record Page in Salesforce
In Salesforce, we get a library of standard, pre-built components known as Standard Components; with the help of these standard components, we can easily create custom applications, pages, and layouts without starting from scratch. These Standard Components are inbuilt and can be used according to our requirements.

Add Standard Components to Salesforce Record Pages
To Add Standard Components to Salesforce Record Page, first log in to your Salesforce account and follow the steps below.
Step 1- On the Setup page of Salesforce Lightning, search the lighting app builder in the Quick Find box and click on the same, as shown in the picture below.

Step 2- Now in Lightning App Builder, we will see a list of custom lightning pages under the heading Lightning Pages. Here, we will select the Lightning Record Page in which we have to add the standard components. In this case, I have selected the record page Opportunity Record Page. On the left side of the record page click on the Edit button.

Step 3- In the Lightning App Builder, we will see the list of Standard components on the left hand and now we will add these standard components to the template region of the record page.

Step 4- To add these standard components to the record page, select a standard component a simply drag it to the template region as shown in the picture below. In this case, I have added the components Activities and Accordion to the Custom Record Page.

Step 5- After adding the Standard components, we can also add filters to each standard component. To add a filter, select a component, and on the right-hand side click on the Add Filter button then enter the Field, Operator, and Value fields, and the last click on the Done button.

Step 6- After adding Standard components according to your requirements, click the Save button to make the changes.

Now we have successfully added standard components to a Salesforce Lightning Record Page with the help of the above example.
