Understanding related list in Salesforce
A related list in Salesforce is a component that shows a list of records that are related/connected to a specific record.
For instance, we might find linked lists for Contacts, Opportunities, Cases, and other objects associated with that Account on the record page for an Account.
Similar lists can be sorted and filtered to display particular entries, as well as customized to display different information. The Related Lists tab on a record page provides access to related lists and allows for their addition to page layouts.
